Concern:
Before relocating to
Arizona, we enjoyed the experience of building not once, but twice, in
our small community known as Sun Valley, Idaho. Finding
our Builder at that time was a breeze since we knew most everyone in the
community. But here we find ourselves moving not only out of state, but
also to a new community not knowing a soul. Where do we begin in
choosing a Builder? We can tell you that we feel blessed to have
“found” Robert
Board a.k.a. Board by Board Construction. Robert, along with his wife
and business partner, Christie, navigated us through the roadmap of
building
in a new area and gave us a heightened sense of what the word “custom”
defines.
Skilled in all
areas of building, Robert has a great ear for not only listening, but
also hearing what we were trying to convey. You know how it is;
we want this, oh no, what we really mean is we want that! He heard us and
interpreted our language. He wanted us to have what we wanted
even though at times we weren’t even sure what we wanted! Robert Board
is the rare builder who was on-site daily and truly supervised every
phase and every sub-contractor. One of the subs told us that Robert
Board makes them want to be proud of their work. The bar is held higher
and
that reputation precedes him. Robert is the ultimate caretaker of your
needs and wants.
Robert’s partner is
his wife, Christie. Christie’s strengths are dovetailed with Robert’s
in that she has exceptional organizational skills. Christie is
behind the scenes in helping the Owner with timelines for finish choices
and deadlines and will go the extra mile to find what you want at a
better price than what you might have hoped. The “draws” are detailed in
helping the Owner be cost effective and efficient. The skills Christie
offers gives one a financial peace of mind and for the most part, that
means sleeping at night!
We not only
recommend Board by Board to our friends and neighbors, we are hopeful
that in the near future we may have the privilege to
work with Robert and Christie again. Their integrity and character are
uncompromised and at the end of the day, that’s really all one can
rest their head on.
